The overall experience here was something else. The silverware many many rolls were grease. They server did his best that's why I gave them 3 stars. We had to wait forever to get our meals, there was one other couple plus the four of us. They rolls they bring to the table were hard. Server fix that brought out nice hot ones after that. We watched the hostess tell a couple they were closed still had 50 minutes before closing. The mashed potatoes were like paste. They put gravy over chicken then when replacement piece came out everyone was done eating. This is not my first time eating there. Guess it was just a off night

Three words...chicken fried bacon. I didn't even know I needed that in my life. Thick cut bacon battered and deep fried as an appetizer turned out to be a brilliant way to start a meal. I split with my friends, which I would recommend since it is a generous portion. The rest of the meal was equally good, the Cotton Patch Cafe does comfort food as well or better than any other bug name chain. Served hot and freshly made, and in Texas at least, with a friendly smile. This is one of my go to places for visitors who want some southern cooking (and I'm not in the mood to do it at home).

Food was awesome. Very clean restaurant. Prices were incredibly fair. Would definitely go again. Oh and who turns down free bread!

If you are looking for some real hospitality and great food, stop in for lunch or dinner at the Cotton Patch Cafe in Grapevine. If you are a tourist, it's only a block off of the shuttle drop off. You will find friendly faces, great food and suggestions on what to do and where to go after your meal too! The cornbread, breaded pickles and chicken were great! Great for all ages! The best part was that their prices were very affordable. Highly suggested when visiting Grapevine!
